Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has dropped the biggest hint yet that Bongani Zungu could make his debut for the club with the player “available” to face Hamilton.
The Ibrox gaffer was speaking ahead of the Remembrance Sunday clash in Glasgow, with the Gers planning a special commemoration at the match this afternoon.
Zungu, 28, has yet to feature for Rangers since joining up with his teammates over three weeks on from signing on transfer deadline day.

Admitting the player is getting closer to fitness, Gerrard revealed that the South African midfielder will be in contention for the clash with Brian Rice’s side.
“Very much so in terms of him getting towards his level,” said Gerrard [Herald].
“We have been trying to accelerate that and giving him extra work and top-ups after training and his application and attitude has been fantastic.
“I am looking to get him involved as soon as possible. He is available for the weekend.”
Bongani Zungu joined Rangers on loan from Ligue 2 side Amiens at the beginning of October but was delayed in joining his new teammates because of quarantining rules on travellers from France.
Eager to get started and show what he can do in Glasgow, Zungu’s renewed attitude has seen him recalled to the South Africa squad ahead of his spell at Rangers.
