Liverpool hope to record their sixth successive victory in all competitions when they take on Manchester City this afternoon.
The Reds currently sit second in the Premier League table behind leaders Southampton on goal difference.
But victory at the Etihad would see Jurgen Klopp’s side return to the summit ahead of the international break and open up an eight-point gap over today’s opponents.
However, the Reds are expected to be without Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for the clash at the Etihad while City come into the game on the back of three straight wins in all competition and sit 12th in the table.
Kick-off at the Etihad is at 4.30pm and Paul Gorst, Ian Doyle, Joe Rimmer and Sean Bradbury will all be on hand to provide live commentary as well as the best reaction, analysis and highlights.
