Liverpool will be hoping for three Premier League wins in a row on Wednesday night as they welcome Brighton to Anfield.
The Reds have recorded two excellent 3-1 victories over both West Ham and Tottenham in their last two matches but had gone five games without winning before that.
That run has seen them slip to third in the table – four points behind leaders Manchester City, who have a game in hand, and four points behind Manchester United, who have played a game more.
It is vital, therefore, Jurgen Klopp’s side win against the Seagulls in order to keep pace at the top of the table – which they have done remarkably well so far given the number of injuries to key players this season.
The match against Graham Potter’s men is set to kick-off at 8.15pm.
