‘I’m genuinely scared’ – Arsenal fans deliver verdict on Aston Villa ahead of Emirates clash – Birmingham Live

Arsenal fans have been giving their thoughts ahead of the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Sunday evening.

Villa travel to the Emirates Stadium looking to bounce back after two straight defeats in the league after losses against Leeds United and Southampton.

The results follow a brilliant start to the campaign for Dean Smith’s men in which they won all four of their opening fixtures, including impressive victories over Liverpool and Leicester City.

Villa are currently in ninth position in the table and know that a win could fire them back up the table.

Arsenal though will be looking at a similar aim, with the Gunners behind Villa on just goal difference.

The Gunners go into the game off the back of a 1-0 win at Old Trafford in their last Premier League game. Mikel Arteta’s men also recorded a 4-1 win over Molde in the Europa League encounter on Thursday night.

Both teams know that three points would see them finish the weekend in a higher position than their opponents.

Ahead of the game, Gunners’ fans have been giving their thoughts on the fixture, here is what they have to say.

@Arsenal1995 : Arsenal game day! After the first couple of games I tweeted saying I wasn’t looking forward to playing Villa. Can see them causing us problems later. Big performance needed to get the three points #AFC
