Owen Hargreaves has warned Harry Kane that he could turn into the next Eden Hazard if he does leave Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking on the Premier League Analysis Show, which is broadcast by Premier League productions, Hargreaves was asked whether Kane would score goals abroad.
And while Hargreaves feels that the Tottenham striker would be prolific in other countries, he feels that leaving Spurs may not be his best option.
“Of course, Harry would score everywhere,” the pundit said. “But you look at what Hazard has done at Real Madrid going there, going to Real Madrid and it’s not gone great.
“You look at those teams and think that the grass isn’t always greener.
“Everything is built around him [at Tottenham] and that’s a plus.”
Hazard has indeed had a miserable time since leaving Chelsea for Madrid.
Kane has been tentatively linked with a move to the Bernabeu throughout his career before, but he seems very settled at Tottenham right now.
Kane did set alarm bells ringing when he made statements suggesting that he would look to leave Spurs if they didn’t show enough ambition before the season started.
However, the Tottenham forward is currently enjoying one of the best spells of form in his career so far, with Jose Mourinho’s side flying.
Kane has remarkably scored seven goals and contributed with eight assists in his first eight Premier League games this season, and any lingering doubts over his future have been quickly shut down.
