Derby County team news: This is the 11 to face Chorley in FA Cup clash – Derbyshire Live

There are 11 debuts for Derby County in today’s FA Cup third-round tie against National League North side Chorley at Victory Park.

The Rams are without their entire first-team squad and coaching staff due to an outbreak of COVID-19.

Derby announced on Monday that the training ground had been closed due to “several first-team staff members and players” testing positive for coronavirus.

The players and staff, including interim manager Wayne Rooney, have taken the precautionary measure of going into self-isolation.

It means the team to face Chorley is made up of players from the under-23 and under-18 squads.

Bobby Duncan, the former Liverpool striker, starts. The 19-year-old joined the Rams from Fiorentina in September.

Jordan Brown and Archie Brown were expected to be involved but are not available.

Senior Professional Development Phase Coach Pat Lyons is in charge of the team. He was to be assisted by Professional Development Phase Coach, Gary Bowyer, but he is now having to self-isolate.

DERBY COUNTY: Yates; Bardell, Williams, Solomon, Jinkinson, Bateman, Aghatise, L Thompson, Duncan, Hutchinson, Cresswell.

Subs: Sykes-Kenworthy (gk), Ebosele, Ibrahim, Cybulski, S Thompson, Rogers, Rutt, Christie.
