Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has issued a rallying cry for his side to continue their early season momentum after beating Celtic.
The Colombian didn’t manage to score but he caused problems for the Hoops back three with regular battles with Shane Duffy throughout.
Morelos got under the Irishman’s skin and left him flustered as the Ibrox side earned a comfortable 2-0 win at the home of their bitter rivals.
And Morelos broke his silence about the victory as he took to social media to share pictures of the game and celebrations.
The 24-year-old used famous Rangers fan slogan ‘We Are The People’ while he also included a line from Steven Gerrard’s first day in the job.
Morelos has regularly had run-ins with Scott Brown, and did slap him in the head during the first half, and he made sure to include him on the post as well.
He shared a picture of him on the ball with Brown closing down and one of the Ibrox squad celebrating following one of Connor Goldson’s goals.
He captioned it: “Another win. Let’s go #WATP”.
Ibrox team-mate Jordan Jones commented: “Well done son.”
Tottenham star and Colombia pal Davinson Sanchez added: “Good job Bufalo.”
Goldson’s double earned Rangers the 2-0 win at Celtic Park and the Ibrox side are now four points clear of their rivals.
