2021 Bunbury Music Festival postponed, could be canceled entirely – WLWT Cincinnati

Cincinnati’s 2021 Bunbury Music Festival has been postponed, and event organizers say this year’s festival could be scrapped in its entirety. Releasing a statement Monday morning, festival organizers wrote, “Bunbarians, it was our hope that the big picture would look very differently by this stage, but unfortunately it is with the safety and wellbeing of our fans, artists and staff in mind that we have chosen to postpone our plans for the next installment of Bunbury Music Festival.”The three-day festival was canceled entirely in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year’s festival — scheduled for June along Cincinnati’s riverfront at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove — was slated to be the festival’s 10th installation. “Canceling once, let alone twice, is the last thing we want to do,” the statement reads. “The state of things as they are projected to be would not lead to a safe and fun environment for all come June, so we are looking to the future without shutting the door entirely on 2021. We’ll continue to look for guidance from health officials at all levels and we ask all of you to stay safe and healthy.”The outdoor summertime festival typically features some of the biggest acts in music. Last year’s headliners were supposed to be Twenty One Pilots, Marshmello and the Avett Brothers. For more information, click here.
